Making a Minimal Vector Portrait in Adobe Illustrator - Xenia Sorokina

In this class, we are going to create a minimal vector portrait using Adobe Illustrator.

Throughout the class, we will trace a reference image and utilize basic shapes like Ellipses and Rectangles, along with tools such as the Pen & Anchor Point tools, Shape Builder, and Eyedropper to craft an appealing illustration.

In the project and resources tab, there is a file named "Color Scheme" containing all the swatches used in the class, which you can apply to your own picture.

You can source the reference photo you wish to transform into artwork from free stock websites like unsplash.com, stockvault.net, or pexels.com. Alternatively, if you prefer the image used in this class, it's available in the project and resources tab.

By the end, you'll have learned how to wield various Adobe Illustrator tools and be capable of creating a minimalist portrait of yourself or your loved ones, or even a contemporary illustration to use as a sticker, postcard, digital product, or anything else you desire.
